Muhammadia Ghosia Islamic Association Ltd. (MGIAL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the teachings of Islam, fostering unity and support among diverse communities, and enhancing the spiritual and social well-being of Muslims and other minority religious communities in Hong Kong. As the parent organization of the Muhammadia Ghosia Islamic Community Centre (MGICC) and Muhammadia Ghosia Islamic Centre (MGIC), MGIAL plays a vital role in guiding and overseeing the activities and initiatives of both institutions.
Founded under the spiritual guidance of the late Peer Karam Shah Al Azhari, a revered Islamic scholar and spiritual leader, MGIAL has been steadfast in its mission to enrich the lives of not only Muslims but also people from various minority religious communities in Hong Kong and beyond. Peer Karam Shah Al Azhari, widely known for his exceptional knowledge, wisdom, and piety, served as an inspiration for the establishment of MGIAL and its continued growth.
The core values of MGIAL are rooted in the teachings of Islam, emphasizing unity, compassion, and mutual respect among all members of the community. Our organization is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds, thereby fostering greater understanding and cooperation among different communities.
Under the guidance of MGIAL, both the Muhammadia Ghosia Islamic Community Centre and the Muhammadia Ghosia Islamic Centre have flourished, becoming thriving hubs for social, cultural, and religious activities in the Yuen Long district and the New Territories. By providing a wide range of programs, services, and support networks, MGIAL strives to nurture the spiritual, emotional, and social well-being of Muslims and other minority religious community members in Hong Kong.
As we continue our journey, we remain committed to the teachings and principles set forth by our spiritual leader, the late Peer Karam Shah Al Azhari, and our mission to foster unity, support, and spiritual growth among diverse communities. We invite you to join us in our endeavors to create a more harmonious and inclusive society, embracing people of all faiths and backgrounds.
