The Muhammadia Ghosia Islamic Community Centre (MGICC) was established in response to the growing need for a dedicated space to serve Ethnic Minorities (EMs) and other communities in the New Territories. Recognizing this need, the Lands Department of Hong Kong granted a location in Tan Kwai Tsuen, Hung Shui Kiu, Yuen Long district to the Muhammadia Ghosia Association Limited in 2020.

Development Bureau Hong Kong generously provided funds for the renovation and development of the Muhammadia Ghosia Islamic Community Centre, enabling the creation of a welcoming and inclusive space that fosters unity, support, and spiritual growth among different communities.

Our dedicated team members and government officials worked tirelessly to transform the vision of the Community Centre into a reality. Overcoming numerous challenges and obstacles, their unwavering determination and hard work culminated in the grand opening of the Muhammadia Ghosia Islamic Community Centre on the historic day of 13th May 2023.

Today, the Muhammadia Ghosia Islamic Community Centre serves as a vibrant hub for social, cultural, and religious activities within the Yuen Long district and New Territories. Open to all, the Centre is a testament to the power of collaboration, community spirit, and shared vision for a more connected and harmonious society.

As we continue to grow and evolve, we remain steadfast in our mission to foster unity, support, and spiritual growth among the diverse communities in the Yuen Long district and New Territories.
